Langtang National Park is fourth national park in Nepal was established in 1976.It is also renowned as the “valley of glaciers” trek. The trek begins through Lush forests, quaint villages, abundant wildlife, astonishing views of the Majestic Himalaya’s, snow-capped mountains, beautiful glaciers and picturesque landscape. It is located 19 miles north of Kathmandu, lies at the south of the Tibetan border and positioned between the main Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. The valley is bounded by Langtang Lirung (7246m) to the north, Gang Chhenpo (6388m) and Naya Kanga (5846m) to the south and Dorje Lakpa (6966m) towards the East.
The trek starts from Syabrubeshi, a Tibetan village via Langtang national park. The park Itself as an inhabitants of a wide range of animals and inimitable birds, monkeys, musk deer, Himalayan black bears and the colorful Danphe (Pheasant), national bird of Nepal and many other floral species. The trek continues to Kyangjin Gompa (3740m), through panoramic Himalayan country of sub - tropical jungles, and dense forest of oak and pine trees. From here can observe the spectacular view of an immense view of the glaciers.
